Opal L. Hubler

	Opal L. Hubler, 81, of Pinckneyville, passed away Monday morning, July 22, 2002 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Opal was born December 7, 1920 in Pinckneyville, the daughter of Henry and Jane (Cheek) Davis.  She was united in marriage to Waldo G. Owen and he preceded her in death in 1944.  She was then united in marriage to Stanley C. Hubler Sr. and he also preceded her in death in 1957.  Opal was a member of Roe's Dale Baptist Church in Pinckneyville, a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Pinckneyville.
	Opal is survived by three sons, Brad Owen and wife Betty of Pinckneyville, Gene Owen and wife Paula of Steeleville and Stanley Hubler and wife Julie of Pinckneyville; six daughters, Darlene Sero and husband Marvin of Duluth, Minn., Marlene  Dinges of Baldwin, Carolyn Wilson and husband Robert of Sparta, Sandy Oyler and husband Donald of Pinckneyville, Linda DeSpain and husband Roy of Coultervillle and Opal June Hubler of Pinckneyville; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a brother, Lee Davis and three sisters, Sophie McClurken, Mabel Owens and Wilma Udarholt.
	Funeral Services were held Wednesday, July 24 at 1 p.m. at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home in Pinckneyville with Reverend J.O. Mathenia officiating.  Interment was in the Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 6 until 9 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until services.
